Gergely is an international transactional lawyer and has extensive experience structuring M&A and finance transactions, as well as transactional insurance programmes.

Prior to creating Risk Finance Brokers Consulting, Gergely was both a lawyer and M&A insurance underwriter. Gergely has more than 20 years of professional experience in advising blue chip clients on insurance and legal solutions in cross-border deals and investment processes.

His career is built on various EMEA markets, working on cross border deals in his former placements in London (England), Budapest (Hungary), Paris (France) and Casablanca (Morocco).

Gergely spent about 7 years as a corporate M&A lawyer at Allen & Overy in their Budapest and Casablanca offices. He joined AIG in 2011 and became member of the M&A Insurance team in London in 2012.

Gergely is one of the most experienced M&A and transactional liability insurance professionals in the world.
